     Care Guide

    Sun Light

    • Needs bright sunlight to partial shade.

    • Young plants prefer partial shade; mature trees tolerate more sun.

    Soil

    • Prefers deep, rich, well-drained loamy soil.

    • Requires high organic matter and slightly acidic conditions (pH 5.0–6.5).

    • Does not tolerate waterlogging.

     Watering

    • Requires consistent moisture, especially during fruit development.

    • Sensitive to drought – mulching helps retain soil moisture.

     Fertilizer

    • Apply organic compost + balanced NPK fertilizer regularly.

    • Extra potassium (K) during flowering and fruiting boosts fruit sweetness.

     Pruning

    • Minimal pruning needed; only remove dead/diseased branches.

    • Maintain open canopy for sunlight penetration.
