     Care Guide

    1.Sun Light

    • Needs bright, indirect light (east or south-facing window).

    • Outdoors: thrives in partial sun with filtered light.

    • Too much direct sun → scorched leaves. Too little → no flowers.

    2. Watering

    • Water thoroughly, then allow the top of the medium to dry before rewatering.

    • In growing season (spring–summer): water 2–3 times weekly.

    • In resting season (winter): reduce watering.

    3. Soil / Potting Medium

    • Best in orchid mix: bark, perlite, and charcoal.

    • Needs excellent aeration around roots.

    4. Fertilizer

    • Use orchid fertilizer (balanced 20:20:20 or orchid bloom booster 10:30:20).

    • Feed every 2 weeks in active growth; once monthly in resting phase.

    5. Pruning & Maintenance

    • Remove spent flower spikes after blooming.

    • Do not cut healthy canes – they store energy and may flower again.

    • Repot every 2–3 years when medium breaks down.

     Flowers

    • Color: Shades of violet, purple, lilac, sometimes with white or darker throats.

    • Shape: Classic orchid blooms with 5–7 cm petals.

    • Season: Flowers in late winter to spring, some hybrids bloom multiple times a year.

    • Long-lasting blooms (up to 6 weeks).
