Snow Bush

The Snow Bush is a colorful tropical shrub valued for its striking foliage that looks dusted with snow. It’s mostly grown for its ornamental leaves, which are splashed with white, green, and pink.

• Common names: Snow Bush, Snow-on-the-Mountain, Hawaiian Snow Bush, Sweet Pea Bush

• Type: evergreen ornamental shrub

• Size: 3–6 ft outdoors; 2–3 ft indoors/in pots

• Leaves: Small, oval, colorful leaves with variegated patterns of green, white, and pink

• Flowers: Tiny, inconspicuous greenish-white to reddish flowers (not showy)

 Growing Conditions

• Sun Light: Bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Outdoors it thrives in partial shade. Too little light = dull colors.

• Soil: Well-draining

• Watering-Keep soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogging.
  

 Fertilizer

• a balanced liquid fertilizer 

• Too much fertilizer = leaf burn.

Care & Maintenance

• Pruning: Responds well to pruning; trim regularly to maintain bushy shape and encourage fresh colorful leaves.
