    About the Product

Porana paniculata (commonly called Manimulla, Bridal Creeper, Christmas Jasmine). It’s a fast-growing, perennial climber with of  clusters of white blossoms that look stunning when draped over a trellis or pergola.flowers are fragrant or not-very-strongly fragrant flowers.

Here’s a full guide on its care and fertilizing:

    Care Guide

    Sun Light

    • Grows best in full sun to partial shade.

    • At least 4–6 hrs of direct morning or filtered sunlight ensures profuse flowering.

    • Too much shade = fewer blooms.

    Soil

    • Prefers well-draining, fertile loamy soil.

    • Good mix: Garden soil + compost/vermicompost + sand (2:1:1).

    • Mulching helps retain moisture & improve soil health.

     Watering

    • Water regularly to keep soil evenly moist, especially in hot weather.

    • Avoid waterlogging — roots may rot.

    • In cooler/rainy months, reduce frequency.

    🌡️ Climate

    • Thrives in warm, humid, tropical/subtropical climates (like Kerala).

    • Frost-sensitive → protect in colder regions.

    ✂️ Pruning

    • Trim after flowering to control size and encourage fresh shoots.

    • Pinch tips of young vines to make plant bushier and fuller.

    • Provide strong support (trellis, fence, pergola) as it is a vigorous climber.

     Fertilizer

Since it’s a heavy bloomer and fast grower, feeding is essential

    • Every 2–3 weeks: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer (NPK 10:10:10 or 19:19:19).

    • To boost blooms: Switch to a phosphorus-rich fertilizer (NPK 10:20:10 or 10:30:20).

    • Foliar spray of micronutrients (iron, magnesium, zinc) once a month helps maintain lush green leaves.

           Organic Feeding:

    • Add vermicompost / cow dung compost every 30–40 days.

    • Bone meal or banana peel fertilizer (for phosphorus & potassium) promotes stronger flowering.

     Extra Tips

    • Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming.

    • Provide strong support structures, since vines can grow aggressively.

    • If flowers are few → usually a sign of low sunlight or excess nitrogen (too leafy, fewer blooms).
